For almost 50 years, Maryland Materials, Inc. has generously supported communities and organizations in our area as part of our commitment to being a stable corporate citizen as well as a long-term provider of employment and economic activity.
In addition to providing donations and material to various groups, MMI employees have been an important part of several projects designed to heighten awareness to help the less fortunate of our neighbors.

EXTREME MAKEOVER
When the design team from the ABC show Extreme Makeover: Home Edition surprised members of the Luther family of Port Deposit with a new home and horse training facility, Maryland Materials provided hundreds of tons stone to the subcontractors on the project.
PROJECT S.T.O.N.E.
Backed by employee donations and a company match, MMI was able to send over 140 care packages to American soldiers fighting in wars overseas through PROJECT S.T.O.N.E. (Sending Troops Our Nation's Encouragement). Supplies were shipped to troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Qatar, Serbia, Djibouti, and the United Arab Emirates.
